Sebagai makhluk sosial, sudah sepatasnya setiap orang saling memerhatikan dan mengasihi sesamanya. Apalagi bila pancaran kasih saying itu sudah diberikan orantua kepada anaknya sejak dia ada di dalam kandungan. Merawatnya hingga tumbuh dewasa dan mandiri, tentu menjadi sebuah kebanggaan bagi pasangan suami istri dalam hal pengasuhan si buah hati.


“Always kiss your children goodnight even if they’re already asleep”, itulah yang kerap dilakukan H. Jacson Brown, Jr, seorang sastrawan kenamaan asal amerika serikat. Seperti brown, banyak cara mengungkapkan kasih saying orangtua kepada putera puterinya.

Pasalnya, pada dasarnya ungkapan kasih sayang ini amat penting bagi perkembangan psikologis seorang anak, baik dari sang ibu maupun si ayah. Ketika si kecil masih berwujud bayi, sentuhan lembut yang diberikan ayah-ibu kepada anaknya, sudah merupakan suatu wujud kasih sayang yang memiliki arti besar.

Menurut Dr Alicia Christine dalam bukunya The Golden Rules To Raise Your Children, setiap anak belajar mencintai dan dicintai dari pesan dan contoah yang diberikan oleh “obyek kasih sayang utama”, yaitu ayah atau ibu.

Anak akan memerhatikan orangtua mereka untuk mengetahui apakah mereka pantas untuk dicintai atau tidak. Dari aspek psikologis, orangtua menjadi cermin yang merefleksikan konsep diri anak mereka. Lewat ayah ibu, terciptalah fondasi untuk pemahaman diri si anak, khususnya melalui tindakan dan kata-kata mereka.

Memahami arti kasih sayang secara timbal balik sudah mutlak diperlukan oleh setiap anak, tanpa ada perbedaan. Hal ini bisa menjadi bekal agar kelak ketika si kecil beranjak besar, dia memiliki kekuatan, harga diri, dan kegembiraan. Nah, dan cara efektif untuk mengungkapkan perasaan anda kepada si anak adalah dengan memperhatikan responsnya.

Ada lima hal yang dapat menjadi acuan dasar, mengungkapkan dan memahami kasih sayang antara anak dengan orangtuanya berdasarkan The First Love Language of Children karangan Gay Chapman dan Ross Champbel: sentuhan fisik, kata-kata yang menyenangkan, wkatu yang berkualitas, hadiah, dan tindakan melayani.

Hal lain yang memperkuat wacana anak tentang arti kasih sayang, berikanlah mereka sebuah contoh hubungan kasih sayang seperti menyayangi pasangan Anda, mengatasi konflik, atau menghibur diri dari kesedihan. Ajaklah mereka untuk berbagi perasaan apa yang dialaminya hari ini bersama anggota keluarga lainnya, dan dengarkan apa yang hendak disampaikan si kecil dengan penuh perhatian.

Dengan beberapa saran di atas, semoga si kecil dapat lebih memahami arti kasih sayang, arti penting untuk mengisi hidupnya di masa mendatang.

Kita hidup di zaman realitas virtual yang makin hari kian manipulative. Keluar dari ruangan ceramah dengan simulasi virtual tadi, kita merasa problem sudah diatasi, dunia sudah beres. Semua dapat nilai A. Persis seperti efek visual nonton film koboi di masa lalu. Keluar gedung bioskop semua orang siku tangannya agak merenggang, masing-masing merasa ada pistol tergantung di pinggang.

Atau justru itulah keajabaian dan kemudahan zaman ini? Citra menyelesaikan segala-galanya? Kalau Anda memiliki sedikit personality yang menyenangkan, pinter ngomong, pasti Anda lebih sukses daripada yang mengerjakan sesuatu secara sungguh-sungguh. Meskipun sebenarnya proses being, men-jadi makin jauh dari Anda. Hanya saja, bukankah seperti kata Eco, tidak hanya orang perduli soal itu..

Korupsi Berjamaah, Lebih bebahaya dan membunuh bangsa Indonesia, karena si koruptor akan berlindung ,dan berperilaku seolah-olah berdasarkan ayat-ayat suci yang mereka pelajari. yang melandasi kebenaran dalam berkorupsi? Tentakel gurita korupsi terbentang panjang, jalin-menjalin ke mana-mana merasuki lapisan Pemerintahan, bisnis, dan masyarakat Indonesia; memperlihatkan gejala bahwa bangsa ini sedang sakit parah.
Dari satu pemerintahan ke pemerintahan lain sejak era reformasi,sepertinya belum ditemukan cara ampuh mengubah perilaku koruptif bangsa ini kendati kita tak bisa menutup mata atas kemajuan kecil pembaruan hukum dan birokrasi. Fondasi gerakan dan kelembagaan antikorupsi masih sangat rapuh oleh perlawanan balik koruptor yang terganggu kepentingan ekonomi dan politiknya.
Korupsi ,kendati merusak dan menghancurkan kehidupan, yang oleh Thomas Lickona(1992) bisa dibilang salah satu bentuk demoralisasi terparah karena bukan saja merusak individu, melainkan juga lingkungan sosial, melawan nilai norma dan hukum - bukanlah sesuatu yang menakutkan bagi bangsa indonesia. Pencuri ayam sering dikutuk masyarakat meski seganas-ganasnya paling banyak hanya membobol satu kandang ayam, tetapi korupsi di seluruh kementerian bisa menghancurkan negara dan kesatuan NKRI, siapa lagi yang mau peduli - paling banyak hukuman yang dijatuhkan hanya selama 4 tahun dikurangi dengan grasi atau abolisi oleh pemerintah. Sudah sangat mendesak bukan urgensi lagi tapi "important" hukuman mati - apakah kiayi menyetujui atau menolak, entahlah? Disinikah diperlukan JIHAD ?, selain kita melakukan Jihad kepada AS?
